Saigon Beer-Alcohol-Beverage Corporation (SABECO) has officially joined Packaging Recycling Organisation Vietnam (PRO Vietnam) with an aim of fulfilling the company’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), working towards a shared goal for all businesses in the industry.
The program is piloted in HCM City from August 2022 to March 2023 to purchase and completely recycle 3,000 tonnes of paper boxes into useful products such as paperboard materials and ecological roofing.
Enterprises in the Packaging Recycling Organisation Vietnam (Pro Vietnam) will collect all packaging they use by 2030, said the organisation’s leader in Ha Noi last week.
Nine leading companies in the consumer goods and packaging industries joined hands to launch the coalition Packaging Recycling Organization Vietnam in HCM City on June 21.
